Who We Are
Northwest Plant and Safety was founded on the back of 27 years of hands-on industry experience — 17 years working in tunnelling and construction across the UK and Ireland, followed by a decade specialising in health and safety management and plant and machinery training. We know this industry from the ground up, because we've worked it from the ground up.
That depth of experience shapes everything we do. Our training combines structured classroom learning with thorough practical assessment, giving delegates the knowledge to pass their certification and the confidence to apply it safely on site. Based in Northern Ireland, we deliver fully accredited courses at our training yard or directly at your location — anywhere across the UK and Ireland.

Classroom & Practical
Our courses combine structured classroom instruction with hands-on practical training. Delegates leave with both the theoretical knowledge and the real-world competence employers expect.

Fully Accredited
All courses are delivered to NPORS, IRTTOP and BRITTOP standards. Certifications are recognised by principal contractors and site managers across the UK and Ireland.
Our Instructors
Our lead instructor brings 17 years of direct experience in tunnelling and major construction projects across the UK and Ireland, followed by 10 years dedicated to health and safety management and plant and machinery training. That combination — real site experience and formal training expertise — means our courses reflect what actually happens on the ground, not just what the textbook says. Every assessment is conducted to the highest industry standards, and every delegate receives the individual attention needed to succeed.
